I made these Jello-Shot Cupcakes with rum in the jello and cake AND I made some of the virgin variety (the kids loved these).
"Honest occifer I only had 3 cupcakes" LOL
Once baked, the cupcakes were removed from their liners and rolled in cherry sugar crystals.
The "frosting" was in fact of a heavy whipped cream variety (thicker than whipped cream, but lighter than frosting)... perfect with the jello.
