Fudgy Brownie Cupcakes with Vanilla Ice Cream Buttercream Frosting

I crossed my brownie batter with my cake batter for this magical chewy, crunchy, moist delight.

The frosting I made followed the standard butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla... but with softened ice cream whipped into the mix. This frosting (kept chilled) is served just after your cupcake is warmed and provides a creamy, thick sweet contrast to the rich chocolaty cake.
