The Cupcakery in The Woodlands

This bakery gets a YUMMISH.

I sampled 5 varieties: Vanilla, Red Velvet, Chocolate, Bavarian Dream, and a Raspberry Cupcake with Champagne Frosting (called the Kir Royale).

Most notable in flavor profile was the pudding-like center of the Bavarian Dream (which was divine - but very sparse in the middle - leaving me highly disappointed and wanting for more) and the Champagne Frosting (which had a delightfully sweet, citrusy edge).

A word about the unusual Kir Royale Cupcake:
The name is relative to the popular French cocktail (the Kir) made with a measure of blackcurrant liqueur and topped with white wine. The Royale version is topped with Champagne. The Cupcakery's cupcake, being raspberry cake-based would actually be a Kir Imperial (as that drink version uses a raspberry liqueur and Champagne). This cupcake would get a yummilicious if raspberry pieces were evident in the cake... a pet-peeve of mine! When enjoying a fruity-inspired cake - I WANT TO SEE THE FRUIT (not to mention, the addition elevates the textural play of the experience).
