"Business of the Week"

An extensive and diverse cupcake menu awaits you...
from traditional to edgy... always flavorful!

Cupcakes like the Brownie Explosion and the Snickers (my personal favorite) touch on every note from creamy to crunchy to gooey to moist and flavorful. The urging from our sweet tooth that we all experience (go on, admit it) is completely satisfied with a mere bite from these power packed intense combinations.

The menu variety abounds with choices of Smore, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Death By Chocolate along with traditional flavors such as Red Velvet and Lemon (and many many many more).

A word rings true with Icing's YUMMILICIOUS cupcakes... decadence! One cupcake, in particular, captures that essence with almost a tenacity: The Tres Leches Cupcake.

Considering THE GFI (Girls From Icing) top their version with a Dulce de leche (which means "milk candy", a caramel-like spread), the experience of enjoying it translates to a Quatro Leches Cake.

The spongy, moist cake harmoniously absorbs its creamy milk bath - holding its firm structure under the rich, thick, smooth caramel-like spread. Successfully, the cupcake soaks the three milks used WITHOUT being soggy. A work of "tasteful" art (yes, the pun is intended).

In all their menu selections these ladies strike a balance between the richness of the frostings and the amped up flavor of the soft, moist, dense cakes.

With each of the variations I devoured I was reminded of why I have the love I do for the cupcake - taking me to the childhood - Bigger Than Life - impact a cupcake can have and Icing Cupcakes deliver that.

Look - a clean plate!

Sidenote: The definition of the idiom "Icing on the cake" is used to refer to something good that happens on top of an already good thing... I believe these three ladies have picked a perfect name for WHAT IT IS THEY DO!
