Tres Naranjas: Three Oranges Cupcakes

This recipe is a take on Tres Leches... but with oranges...
1. orange in the cake
2. orange in the whipped cream
3. orange in the frosting
(sidenote: the picture below would've "played" better if I had captured only 3 oranges, ah well :-)

A Butter Cupcake with a soaking of an orange simple syrup, topped with a dollop of a whipped orange marmalade cream and a swirling of orange zested cream cheese frosting.


The inspiration is from the Tres Leches cupcake I had from Icing Cupcakes Bakery and the creativity of my sister AMY! :-)
